Given that Blinken appears to have been part of Chinese United Front efforts to influence American policy for some time now, why would anyone ever think he would want to oppose Xi Jinping and his cronies? As Director of the Penn Biden Center, Blinken presided over an entity that was funded in large measure by the Chinese and which seems to have been dedicated primarily to pushing Chinese propaganda inside the United States.
Despite tough talk on China, the Biden administration’s actions have shown they will do the opposite. Rather than pushing China out of the Middle East or Africa, the Biden team welcomes Chinese expansion in these areas, and believes in the old failed “win-win” approach of cooperation with the CCP which threatens international security and undermines our alliances.
