Such entities, part of China’s United Front activities, focus on coopting foreign elites and are a dime a dozen now in the United States. Our policies have made the Chinese rich, and that wealth has bought a lot of influence.
In this role as the new CIA Director, Williams Burns will head an organization confronting an increasingly active and aggressive Chinese spy apparatus. Unfortunately, Burns, like so many other Biden appointees, is also quite possibly compromised by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Given that Blinken appears to have been part of Chinese United Front efforts to influence American policy for some time now, why would anyone ever think he would want to oppose Xi Jinping and his cronies?
